October 19, 2021 was the inception of our shop 805 Flowers. Going back to when I was a child I would watch and help my grandmother in her large garden which she dedicated to flowers for our many family events. She was always working out of her patio making boutonnieres, corsages and centerpieces for every family function. Being a farmer’s wife, she bartered with her flower grower friends for leather leaf, carnations and daisies, in exchange for persimmons, pears and apples. My first experience working in floral was with her and then after graduating from Cal Poly at my mom's shop. Everything I knew at that point was taught to me by my grandmother and mom so they sent me to Creative Floral Design School of New Orleans. There were several techniques I learned and applied to my mom’s shop upon returning. I cherish my time at that shop, learning the industry, and meeting the growers who provided the best CA grown product. Our little shop provided flowers to hundreds of brides and we kept the Mission San Juan Bautista altar beautiful with arrangements we created each Thursday afternoon. Upon moving back to the Central Coast after getting married, I continued to work in the floral industry on a part time basis.
We just moved from our old location near Kennedy Club Fittness up ECR to 7425 (space H) and are happy to have more room in our new space at the Plaza de Pueblo. Thanks to our customers over the past 3(+) years ! We couldn't start up from scratch and have growth without you! We appreciate the support, love the feedback, and look forward to our 4th year ahead. We serve the county of San Luis Obispo with daily deliveries from Paso to SLO, Morro Bay up to Cambria as well as Creston and Santa Margarita. Orders placed by 2:30 PM are guarnteed same day delivery. We have great relationships with our local growers and rely on our amazing wholesalers and farms to deliver us the freshest blooms daily.
